Someone is trying to access my pin. When I startup it says ive tried the pin to many times. Please help.

Someone is trying to access my pin, even when the computer is off. When I switch on it says i have tried the pin to many times. Please help.

    Thanks for reaching out. Were you able to log in using your Microsoft account password instead of the PIN? When Windows says your PIN was tried too many times, it’s a security measure to protect your account.

    Restart your computer, select “Sign-in options,” and choose your account password to access your desktop. Then go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN (Windows Hello) and select I forgot my PIN to set a new one.

    Finally, visit account.microsoft.com/security to check for any unfamiliar activity and secure your account.
