I'm out of US, now unable to purchase MS365 service, because I can't change the country in the credit card option.

    Hi Jing,

Microsoft ties your subscription to the country selected when you first signed up. This is done to comply with regional pricing, tax laws, and service availability. Unfortunately, once the subscription is active, the billing region becomes locked, and the system won’t accept payment methods from a different country.

    What You Can Do

    Let the Subscription Expire

Once it expires, you’ll be able to:

Re-subscribe using your current location and local payment method.

Keep all your files and account data intact, your OneDrive won’t delete anything as long as you use the same Microsoft account.

    Update Your Microsoft Account Region

    If you haven’t already:

    Go to Your Microsoft Profile.

Change your Country/Region to match your current location.

Then visit Payment Options and add a new card from your current country.

This only works if you’re starting a new subscription or if the old one has expired. Active subscriptions won’t allow regional changes.

If you’re unable to proceed, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support directly

Let me know how if goes, Happy to help!
