How to change text format change in formula bar so that is consistent with the data in the cell

Hi,
How do I change the format of the data in formula bar, so it is consistent with the data in the cell. Please see the screen shot below. I want the format 5/1/2024 in the formula bar, which is date first than month.

    As far as I know, the formula bar follows your Windows system setting for dates. What you see in the Excel grid is determined by the chosen cell format. Thus, change the regional setting on your computer to use dd/mm/yyyy.
