    Hi Jamil! Thanks for the details.

    Make sure you’re using a version of Excel that supports Data Models for example: Excel 2013 and later support Power Pivot/Data Model natively.

    Also check for updates if there's any:

    • Go to File → Account → Update Options → Update Now.

    If it's updated, try to open Excel in Safe Mode

    Press Windows + R, type:

    excel /safe

    Open the workbook in Safe Mode.

    If it opens, the issue may be caused by add-ins. Disable add-ins:

    • File → Options → Add-ins → COM Add-ins → Go → uncheck all → OK.

    Re-check the add-ins one by one until you find the culprit.
