Win 11 how to stop excel 365 prompt opening instead of office 2010

I have Office 2010 installed.
When I click on excel file, it starts me in the unlicensed version of 265
When I click an excel file to "open with", Excel 2010 it is not an option
Office Click-to-run seems to be the problem. If I delete it from the startup, Excel files open correctly in 2010
How do I prevent it from starting every time I boot up?

Hi, I am an independent advisor and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

Let me help you with this issue.

If you do not have an active subscription with Microsoft Office 365, you should uninstall it.

    Press Windows + R, type:

    appwiz.cpl

    and press Enter.

    (This opens “Programs and Features.”)

Look for Microsoft 365 Apps, Microsoft Office Click-to-Run, or similar entries.

    Select it and click Uninstall.

Follow the prompts — this may take a few minutes.

    When done, restart your PC.

Now, Excel files should open directly in Excel 2010.
