Hi Thomas Warnock, thanks for posting, enabling Secure Boot is a smart move. It helps block rootkits by ensuring only trusted software loads at startup. You can enable it in your BIOS/UEFI (usually via F2 or Delete during boot), but make sure UEFI mode is on and CSM is off. That said, Secure Boot won’t remove existing malware. If you suspect a rootkit, a clean install of Windows is safest. Also, unlink OneDrive temporarily and scan your files before resyncing. For the device issue, check account.microsoft.com/devices to re-register. If Microsoft links aren’t loading, try flushing DNS or switching to a secure DNS like Cloudflare.
Let us know how it goes. If this helps, feel free to mark the answer as accepted so others can find it too.
Best,
Carl
