Hello,

After updating to the latest Microsoft 365 Copilot iOS app (version 2.103.0), we’ve encountered a critical issue with Universal Print job release:

  • Users on v2.103.0 can no longer see their print jobs after scanning the printer’s QR code.
  • The jobs are successfully submitted to the Universal Print queue in Azure, but the job list fails to load after scanning.
  • This makes it impossible to release jobs, as there is currently no alternative release method available in the app.

Troubleshooting performed:

  • Tested with multiple users, accounts, and devices → same result.
  • Verified jobs are present in the UP queue in Azure.
  • Attempted uninstall/reinstall, wiping app data, and testing on new devices → issue persists.
  • Downgrade is not possible, as older versions are unavailable.

This issue appears to be specific to version 2.103.0, as functionality is still working if using 2.102.X

Could Microsoft please confirm if this is a known regression and whether a fix or workaround is planned? This is currently blocking all iOS users from releasing Universal Print jobs. There is no other way to release jobs currently.

Thank you,

EDIT: Fixed in 2.103.1

I raised a ticket for this issue yesterday morning (Thursday 23rd) and it has been accepted by product team, who are working on a fix for this.

I'll update you, when I get confirmation of resolution from Microsoft Support.

Android devices are not affected by this.
