I have not been able to update W10 Enterprise Edition to get the ESU. I meet all the requirements and am ready to pay $61 for the next year but have not been able to do it. I checked with command prompt using slgr /div and the information shows up with MAK numbers. And followed a lot of suggestions on the web but nothing works. This is a non profit corporation and got W10 through Tech Soup. One hitch from earlier was that I was unable to contact the Volume Licensing Service as the email registered does not exist anymore. Still want time to get another computer with W11 but not at this time. Hope for Help. Thanks Bill.

    Hello Bill, this is Henry.

First, your old email tied to the Volume Licensing account is blocking progress. You should contact Microsoft Volume Licensing Support to verify your nonprofit’s identity and assign a new admin email.

Once access is restored, contact TechSoup or a Microsoft partner to buy the ESU license. The key will appear in your M365 Admin Center.

After you get the key, please run these commands in Command Prompt as Administrator:

    • slmgr /ipk <your ESU key>
    • slmgr /ato

    Then verify with: slmgr /dlv

Look for confirmation that the ESU license is active.
