How to get in a laptop that I bought, locked with a bit locker recovery key?

I bought a Gateway book from a friend, and it's locked with a Bit Locker Recovery key and I can't get any further and I don't know to do. Help me please!

    Hello

    If you bought it from your friend, the key is stored in your friend's Microsoft account - that is, if he was the original user setting up the computer out of box.

    Have your friend look here: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey

    There's no way to bypass the bitlocker key. If you cannot find it at all, clean install and start over is the only option.
