I got my computer less than 2 years ago, and the Windows Hello fingerprint scanner worked great. After the Windows 11 update, it stopped working and shows that all the options are currently unavailable or unable to find a compatible scanner/camera. This has been very frustrating, and I've looked into all the possible solutions to fix it with no success. Please help.

The computer is an Asus Zenbook model UM3420Y. Specs below:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5825U with Radeon Graphics (2.00 GHz)

Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)

Product ID: <Removed PII>

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points

I feel so lost and I just want my laptop to be back to how it was. Still trying anything I can find.

EDIT: I found out that somehow the program that allows windows to access my biometrics got deleted. Tried to reinstall and hasn't worked so probably going to have to reset my laptop but I really don't want to.

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to Accounts.

Select Access Work or School, is there is a work or school Email listed there?
