I had locked

This email was set 2020 as a alternative email (re*****@discovino.com) in my outlook account, I had not consider how it was added at that time. I saw this because to search in outlook and get mail where automatically added security email address. And now I am unable to access the BitLocker Data Protection recovery keys from an outlook accounts.

I go to Microsoft account, choose device, click on see the details and saw the Bitlocker data protection

Device encryption and click on Manage recovery keys, open a new page where add a alternate email: re*****@discovino.com, I am out of my mind, I have no idea, coz I don't this alternate email, I try and even use my alternate phone number, couldn't able to, after retry it saysimage Due to this problem, I am unable to unlock my E: and D: drives, and the message "You can't access this site right now" appears when I try to recover the recovery key.

Please help me recover access to my BitLocker keys or guide me on how to verify the security settings of my account and regain control.

Thank you.

    Hello there,

I understand how challenging it can be to face issues with accessing your BitLocker recovery keys, especially when it involves important data.

The situation you’re experiencing often arises when the recovery keys are linked to an email address that you might not remember or have access to, which can complicate recovery efforts.

To start, I recommend checking your Microsoft account directly, as the recovery keys are usually stored there under the devices section. If you’re able to log in, this is a great first step.

Additionally, think back to whether you might have saved the recovery key to a USB drive or printed it out during the initial setup.

Sometimes people keep these in safe places. If your device was issued by an organization, reaching out to your IT department may also help, as they sometimes have procedures for these scenarios.

If you’re having trouble with the recovery process or the email verification, please let me know what steps you’ve already attempted.

I’m happy to help you explore all available options to regain access to your drives, so feel free to share any details that might be relevant.

    Regards, Aron
