A bill from 2x Tech Solutions, S division for over $300 received after pushing return to "original settings".
Nothing to do with McAffee protective device as suggested by AI 365.
Was not aware I might be charged for procedure. Also, AI 365 suggested going to Dell the manufacturer.

By your description of events this sounds like a scammer is trying to get your money, do not send any money to this “2x Tech Solutions”, returning your windows PC to original settings does not cost anything. If you didn’t send your computer to a repair shop you should not be getting charged anything.
Please send a screenshot of the obstructive bill, It is likely it is a scam.

Thanks, JC. Kind of suspected this might be the case but wasn't sure.
I advise you take your computer to a reputable repair shop, or someone you know who can fix it for you, the popup is likely fake, I've seen something similar when I was working IT for a school, one of the teachers thought the computer was infected with a virus but it was just a scam popup that did nothing to the computer itself, it was just banking on them believing the lie and handing out money.
