This behavior may be related to how Windows manages background services and network connections during update staging. Pending updates can temporarily suspend or delay certain services—including print spooler and network discovery—which may cause printers to appear offline.
To help mitigate this, we recommend:
Ensuring that the Print Spooler service is set to start automatically and remains running during update checks.
Verifying that network discovery and file/printer sharing are enabled in your network settings.
