We are currently using Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB to support our ATM machines. As Microsoft has discontinued support for this version, we are seeking extended license support for a newer version—specifically Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC or higher.

Please note that we are only looking to extend the Support and do not intend to perform a fresh OS installation at this stage.

For your reference, the relevant license information is attached to this email.

We appreciate your assistance and look forward to your guidance on how we can proceed.

    Hello,

While Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB has reached end of servicing, Microsoft offers Extended Security Updates (ESU) for eligible IoT editions, and upgrade paths to newer LTSC versions such as 2019 or 2021 may be available through volume licensing or OEM partners. However, please note that ESU programs typically require enrollment and may involve additional licensing agreements.

To proceed, we recommend contacting your Microsoft licensing provider or distributor to explore eligibility for ESU or upgrade rights under your current agreement. If needed, we can also connect you with a Microsoft partner who specializes in IoT solutions.

If my answer is useful for you, please vote for it.

    Best regards,

    Domic.
