How to link microsoft account to freecodecamp.org account

  1.Check your Microsoft Account: Make sure you have an active Microsoft account. If you do not have one, you can create it via One account for all things Microsoft

 2. On Microsoft learn, complete the required learning path for the certification (for example the C# modules) so that you earn the "trophy" in Microsoft learn.    

 3. Once your learning path is complete, go to your Microsoft Learn profile:

• Sign in at free.blessedness.top with the Microsoft account you used. 
• Click your user icon → Profile.
• In the left navigation menu pick Transcript.
• On the Transcript page, click Share link to generate a public (or link-shareable) URL in the required format. 
• Make sure that the link’s format follows: https://free.blessedness.top/<LOCALE>/users/<USERNAME>/transcript/<UNIQUE_ID>

4.Switch to freeCodeCamp:

• Log in to your freeCodeCamp account.
• Go to the C# certification path (or the “Verify your trophy from Microsoft” section) on freeCodeCamp. 
• When prompted “Link your Microsoft account” or similar, paste the Share Link you generated from Microsoft Learn. 
• Click “Verify trophy” or the equivalent button on freeCodeCamp. If everything is correct the system should confirm your linking and allow you to proceed.

Common Issues & Fixes:

• Trophy Link Not Accepted: Ensure you copy the full URL from your Microsoft Learn transcript (it usually looks like /users/<username>-<id>/transcript).
• Sign-in Problems: Use the same Microsoft account throughout. If issues persist, clear your browser cache or try an incognito window.
