UNHANDLED EXCEPTION ON QUIT

I just migrated to VS 2026 Insiders and tried the NET MAUI 10 Sample that is generated when you create a new project. Testing with Emulator API 36.

Pressing the '<' hardware button of the emulator throws the exception:

'Android.Runtime.JavaProxyThrowable'

that shows for a few seconds, then the app quits as expected.

What's the issue?

4.Update Dependencies: Check if there are any updates available for .NET MAUI or related libraries. Sometimes bugs in earlier versions may have already been fixed in newer releases.

5.Check Emulator Settings: Verify if the emulator settings are correctly configured. Sometimes issues arise from the emulator’s configuration rather than the application itself.

All the suggested checks gave negative results. I only found that the associated InnerException is "Cannot access a disposed object"

I must add that the same exception is thrown by the sample CollectionViewDemo downloaded from GitHub, and by a simple project that I created for NET 10.

Conversely, it does not show for my old projects running NET 9.

Therefore, I think it is a bug in NET 10 - besides, it is a Preview, hence I hope this bug will be fixed in the final release.

Answer to Starry Night:

Please refer to my comment posted 21st.

I tried with Android Emulator, API 36 and 29: same issue.

To reproduce the issue, just create a new project for NET 10 and check 'Include sample content'. Run it, then press the '<' key on the emulator.
