Ghost images of meetings I attend appear on the desktop. There is no way to action the images. The only way to remove the ghost images is to quit and restart Teams.

What macOS version are you using? Tahoe 26.0.1

Is there any other applications that was running when the issue happened? (e.g. screen recording, streaming, or window management apps, etc.) No

oes this happen after every meeting, or only specific ones? Does the issue occur with video calls, audio-only calls, or both? Random video meetings. I do notice when I do full screen sometimes the image of the Teams call stays on the desktop after the call ends.

When exactly did the issue happen (e.g. after someone started sharing screen, after a specific duration of time, etc.)  The ghost image stays resident on the desktop after a video screenshare call.

No screenshots yet. I'll do so upon the next event.

    Hi @Prince B. Harris, II

Thank you for your prompt update.

With your new information, this issue is highly due to macOS Tahoe’s new window window/display management system may not be fully compatible with the current Teams client. Tahoe 16.0.1 system is a new released operating system which can have incompatibilities with current Teams client design which up to now is optimized for macOS Sequoia 15.

In the meantime, you could try some steps below:

    1- Clear Teams cache

    • If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit or press Command (⌘)-Q.
    • In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.
    • Enter the following commands, and press Return after each command:

    rm -rf ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.teams

    rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2

    • Restart your Mac.

For more detail, you can refer to Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

2- If you've tried all the steps above and the problem persists, we suggest you report this issue directly to Microsoft.
