Unable to Purchase SQL Server Pay-Per-Incident Support from Services Hub in South Korea

Hi everyone,

I'm based in South Korea and trying to purchase a one-time incident support ticket for SQL Server via Microsoft Services Hub.

However, when I attempt to buy the ticket, the system only allows me to select United States as the country, and I cannot proceed with the purchase using my Korean account or billing information.

I would like to receive support in English, and I'm okay with using a personal Microsoft account if needed. But the platform seems to restrict the purchase based on region.

Questions:

  1. Is it possible to purchase a pay-per-incident support ticket for SQL Server from South Korea?
  2. Are there any workarounds, such as changing account region or using a different portal?
  3. Can CSP partners or Azure support plans help with SQL Server on-premises issues like security patch failures?

Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi 권태우,

Pay-Per-Incident (PPI) support for SQL Server isn’t currently available in South Korea through Services Hub. You can instead:

If you need one-time help, calling Microsoft Support directly is the quickest way to get routed to the right regional team.

    Thanks,
    Akhil.
