 
			
		The pointer, which is no longer needed, disappears and is replaced by a blinking line cursor, which is the insertion point where you can start typing. So I don't believe anything is wrong with the pointer.

I'm not sure why this has been happening. I'm pretty sure it has happened ever since I have gotten my laptop which wasn't too long ago (3 months). I believe it's only a problem on Microsoft Edge, however. It usually bugs out for me on the website version of Outlook, but when I opened the application, it worked just fine.
