Looking for boot disk & repair tools

This is an odd question. I'm trying to resurrect an old 486 running Windows XP Pro that hasn't been used in several years. I have some old programs I'd like to run. I have the original XP Pro install disk, but was hoping for a more comprehensive set of repair tools. I downloaded Hiren's bootable .iso, but it won't fit on a cd-r or cd-rw. My machine only has a read/write CD drive, and can't read a DVD. I need an .iso less than or equal to 700MB (Hiren's is about 850MB). Is there perhaps an older, smaller version of this kicking around?

    Hello @Gary Graziano

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Q&A and raise your concern.

I believed that right now you're looking for a bootable tool for Windows XP Pro. I'm afraid that since Windows XP has stopped received update since 2014, I'm afraid that there is no official tool to boot XP anymore, even though there are a few tools from 3rd party supplier, but it is very risky and could do more harm than good to your PC so I am not recommended it.

    Best regards.
