Hi Anurag, Thanks for posting here in the Microsoft community, when you enable POP or IMAP in Outlook.com settings and click Save, the settings appear to save but automatically turn off after refreshing or logging back in.

This happens when New Outlook.com often faces this due to Microsoft’s backend restrictions to prevent abuse, it can also happen due to account type restrictions (e.g., work/school accounts managed by an admin) and sometimes, it's a bug in the Outlook web interface, the Save button doesn’t apply the changes.

Here’s what you can do, wait a few days if your account is new, IMAP/POP access may be delayed, then use the Outlook desktop app to manage settings instead of the web then check if your account is managed by an organization admins might be blocking these settings, also, Report the issue via Outlook Web then Help then Feedback then Report a problem.

I hope this helps you out. Let me know how it goes.

    Chard
