GUI renderComponentIntoRoot error when trying to create function

Understand from description that you are trying to create a new function in your function app, specifically with that "renderComponentIntoRoot" error

Please follow these steps:

Force Azure Portal to Reload & Clear Site Data

1. Open the Azure Portal directly via this link: https://portal.azure.com
2. Press F12 to open Developer Tools in your browser.
3. Navigate to the Application tab.
4. In the left sidebar, under Storage, click on Clear site data.
5. Perform a hard refresh:
   • Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + R
   • Mac: Press Cmd + Shift + R
6. Now, try navigating back to your App and accessing it again.

Thanks for the quick response! Unfortunately, after following your steps for clearing storage data, the problem persists.

Another thing to make note: I'm using the "Create function" button on the mainpage of the function app.

Unlike some guides I saw online, I can't find a "Functions" on the left menu.

1. What runtime stack and version is your Function App using?
2. What hosting plan type are you using?
3. Are you using “Run From Package” deployment? (Check if the setting WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE is enabled)
4. Which browser and version are you using to access the Azure Portal?
5. Have you tried accessing the portal using incognito/private mode or a different browser?
6. Is this a brand-new Function App or was it migrated/created from a template?
7. Are you seeing any specific error messages beyond “AzureFunctionApp error 2”?
8. Function Name
