    Hi @tttimyx ,

    Thanks for sharing the details!

    From your description:

    • You already replaced the LAN cable and did a clean install, so hardware and leftover configs are unlikely.
    • Drivers are updated, and the issue only appears on Windows 11 (not Windows 10), so this points to an OS/driver interaction.
    • It’s not an ISP issue because the disconnect happens only when starting high-bandwidth tasks like screen sharing or FiveM.

You’re not alone, this is a known issue affecting many users after upgrading to Windows 11 24H2/25H2. The problem often relates to how the updated network stack interacts with some NIC drivers (Intel Killer and Realtek are common cases).

Here are some general fixes that you can check out:

    1. Reset the Network Stack

    • Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

    • Then restart your PC.

    Reference: Reset network settings

    2. Disable Power-Saving

    • Device Manager → Network Adapter → Properties → Power Management→ UncheckAllow the computer to turn off this device.
    • Under Advanced, disable Energy-Efficient Ethernet.

Reference: Power management setting on a network adapter

    3. Update or Reinstall NIC Drivers

    • You can download the latest driver from your PC manufacturer or Intel’s Download Center. Intel also offers the Driver & Support Assistant, which works on Windows 11 even though the page mentions older OS versions.
    • If you have Intel Killer, uninstall the Killer Suite and install the plain Intel driver.

Note: The link above is not an official Microsoft support article and point to Intel’s official site or your PC manufacturer’s site. Always download drivers only from trusted sources. Avoid third-party driver sites.

    4. Set Static IP/DNS

    • Switch IPv4 to Manual and use DNS like 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1.

    5. Apply Latest Updates

    • Microsoft has acknowledged networking regressions in 24H2/25H2 and is releasing fixes through cumulative updates. Installing the latest updates ensures you have those patches.

Hope this helps! Please try the steps above and tell me how it goes by leaving a comment below!

          • Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
          • DNS: Use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
          • Click **OK
            **
            3. Enable WinHTTP AutoProxy Service
            • Press Windows + R → Type services.msc → Enter
            • Find WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service
            • Right-click → Properties

    1. Update Network Drivers Manually
    • Go to your motherboard or laptop manufacturer’s website
    • Download the latest LAN/Wi-Fi drivers for Windows 11 25H2
    • Install them manually (don’t rely on Windows Update)
    1. Disable IPv6 (Optional but Helpful)
    • Go to ncpa.cpl again
    • Right-click your network → Properties
    • Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
    • Click OK
      1. Check for Background Apps
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Open Task Manager
    • Go to Startup tab
    • Disable unnecessary apps that launch with Windows
    • Also check Processes tab for apps using high network bandwidth
      1. Try a Different Browser or Screen Sharing Tool
    • Brave may be triggering the issue—try using Edge or Chrome
    • For screen sharing, test with Discord, Zoom, or Teams to isolate the issue
    1. Run Network Troubleshooter
    • Go to SettingsSystemTroubleshootOther troubleshooters
    • Run Internet Connections and Network Adapter troubleshooters 10. Check Router Settings
    • Log into your router (usually 192.168.1.1)
    • Make sure QoS (Quality of Service) is disabled
    • Check for firmware updates for your router
