I can't add payment method even though I'm a super admin of the account. Is this a common issue?

    Hello Jersey Dayday,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!

I can see you’re having trouble adding a payment method, despite being a super admin—and that can definitely feel frustrating. Don’t worry, this happens sometimes. Let’s go through the steps together and get it sorted.

Here are some potential reasons and steps you can try:

    1. Card Details: Double-check that the card information you're entering (card number, expiration date, name, and billing address) is correct and matches the details that your bank has on file.
      1. Here are some common problems with entering credit card info:
        1. Enter your name precisely as it appears on the card. Only include your middle initial if it appears on your card.
        2. If this is a company card, enter the company name as both a first name and last name. For example, if the company name is "Contoso Shoes," split the company name into the first and last name fields.
        3. If the company only has one name, for example, "Contoso," enter the company name in both the first and last name fields.
        4. If your address exceeds the Address 1 field, use the Address 2 field. Do not shorten or abbreviate your address.
        5. The card number and type cannot be edited, so if you make a mistake, you'll need to add a new one with the correct information. Other credit card information can be edited, such as billing address and expiration date.
        6. The card number was entered with dashes or spaces. Enter the credit card number without spaces or punctuation.
        7. The credit card you're trying to use requires you to enter a PIN/security verification when making a payment. Microsoft Advertising doesn't accept cards that require you to enter a PIN/security verification when making a payment. Use a different credit card or form of payment.
        8. You're trying to use a card that isn't authorized for online purchases or automatic billing. Contact your credit card company to make sure you're authorized to use this card for online purchases and automatic billing.
    2. Supported Cards: Keep in mind that not all cards are supported. For instance, prepaid cards and certain virtual cards can't be used.
    3. Browser Issues: Sometimes, browser difficulties can cause issues. Try using a private browsing mode or clearing your cache and cookies to see if that helps.
