I am looking into translation solutions and have found that the LLM-enabled translation in the 2025-05-01-preview API (https://free.blessedness.top/en-us/azure/ai-services/translator/text-translation/preview/overview) far superior to the NMT results when using the text translation API, but I've so far been unable to find a way to specify a model to be used in the document translation (not a custom model, just a deployed gpt-4o). When using the document translation API I get the same results as translating phrases with the NMT in the text translation.
Is it possible to specify a model in the document translation API?

I could not find any supported syntax in the client class to use LLM in document translation though document mentions it. Checking with team internally on it.

LLM usage is not available in document translation api yet but only available vial translate api. Azure AI Translator 2025-05-01-preview translate method - Azure AI services | Microsoft Learn
