New PC Win11....trying to Post a question at this site using ....was unable to type in this area (where you type your question), no letters would populate. I cleared History, etc ALL TIME, instead of using Shortcut Icon...typed in site. This was happening using Chrome and Edge. My old PC using Win10...was Could type a question..... I was finally able to type this question, using my New WIN11 Desktop....by sliding the switch upper right corner "VIEW IN TEXT" slider switch and I could type just fine. I don't recall this VIEW RICH TEXT slider when I went to this site using by other Desktop with WIN10.

When entering a question here and selecting DISCARD DRAFT...this View Rich Text Slider slides back to the right and turns from green to Gray....and with it in that position...again I cannot type in my question....letter don't populate.

Is there some setting on my new Win11 causing this issue..or something in Microsoft Q&A site I need to change?

That slider has been there for a couple of years. But it was not there in the first version of Microsoft Q&A, when Markdown was the only input option. When more exactly did you have this posting problems? I noted in our internal moderator forum this morning (Swedish time) that one moderator reported problems with entering answers or comments. Maybe there was some hickup at the time you had these problems.I'm using Windows 11 (and Firefox), and I have not run into these problems. But occasionally this site misbehaves.

I've been experiencing the same problem since yesterday afternoon. All browsers in my Windows 11 environment, which had been working fine until then, have changed and broken. This problem doesn't occur with a different Microsoft account, but that doesn't mean anything to me.

However, thanks to your important hint, this problem has now been temporarily resolved.

The solution is to try "a different PC." I followed your example and tried it on an old Windows 10 PC. It worked perfectly fine, and I was able to use the 'Q&A' app as before. Then, just to test it out, I tried another, more recent Windows 11 PC. This also worked fine. That seems to be the solution.
