I would like to inquire whether it’s possible to connect SQL Server to SharePoint, given the size of our organization, many associates prefer to access and share data through our existing SharePoint channels.

Connect Power BI to SQL Server (via gateway if on-premises).
Create reports and dashboards in Power BI
Embed Power BI reports in SharePoint Online using the Power BI web part.
Users can view live data without accessing SQL Server directly.
