Get Exception Details from call a local function in this logic app action in logic app standard

I have a logic app standard with local function project written in C# https://free.blessedness.top/en-us/azure/logic-apps/create-run-custom-code-functions and throwing exception in some scenarios but in workflow run history not getting exact detailed error details instead getting generic error message for action "Call a local function in this logic app". Exception log details are available in application insights but excepting same in failed action result level also. Because using external logging tool to send workflow errors. Please suggest how to achieve this.

Application Insights provides a rich set of logs, telemetry, and diagnostics that makes troubleshooting much easier.

If you’re not using Application Insights, you'll be limited to basic logs in Logic Apps and basic monitoring in Azure Functions.

Hi praveen,

Expecting custom code return exact error details in workflow level, so I want to send logs to external system. I am getting always generic error for the action "call a local function in this logic app" failed like "The function xxxx failed to execute. Please verify function code is valid." @Kent Weare (MSFT)
