Teams keeps rejecting my email when trying to create a teams account

I am trying to change the account currently setup on my teams account which is used on HP poly X70 conferencing system.

HP support tell me its not their problem its a teams issue.

I am getting errors trying to use the new outlook email i setup just for this. errors telling me i cant use personal email it needs to be a business email.

I can use the outlook email on the teams desktop app and the web based version, but not on the poly X70 conferencing system.

please help

Hello,

The Teams built into the poly device is the MTR edition, purpose-built for meeting and conference rooms. This edition only works for business licensed users, it doesn't support personal Microsoft account.

Ok, so if using my licenced user account, which works fine,how can i modify my teams meetings within this version of teams to show a different room name and email address. As i dont want the current room name or for my my client to see my business email address.

If this is not possible, can what cheapest Microsoft plan can i use to create a licenced account to use with the x70 version of teams and can i use outlook email i created and convert this to use on the licence that i purchase for microsoft?

Paul, from your comments, it is unclear to me - do you currently have a Microsoft 365 business plan and Teams room license? Or were you hypothesisly speaking?
