Group settings cannot be editted, even as group owner

Greetings,

I wanted to set up a outlook group, but emails from outside are not delivered. To fix that i wanted to edit the settings of the group. But that is not possible since there is no button ans described in many explanations and posts.

Please can someone help me how to get around that issue.

Hi!

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your screenshot you’ve created an Outlook.com group (consumer Outlook). You only see the very basic options (group name, description, picture). The settings that you need exists only in Microsoft 365 Groups managed through the Exchange Admin Center.

Have full delivery management options.
You can allow external senders.

and for that you’ll need a Microsoft 365 subscription (Business Basic, Standard, or higher).

So you say, that the functionality of allowing outsiders to use this group as a distributor for the members is only possible with a payed MS 365 subscription?

Because the use of trused adresses causes other problems as well, as i described in a different post.
