My window 8 PC does not recognize my old password nor the new Microsoft password I created using my iPad. I get a “sign-in with the last password you used” and then “incorrect password” message each time I I try to sign in on my pc. I am connected to the internet. What can I do? Thanks.

Before we proceed, may I know if the account that you used to log into the Windows 8 PC is a local account or your Microsoft account? Please note that changing your password only works if you are signing in with your Microsoft account.
