Unable to Access Microsoft 365 Admin Center Due to 2FA

Hello Microsoft Support Team,

I am unable to log in to my Microsoft 365 Admin Center because I no longer have access to my 2FA codes. I recently removed the Authenticator app from my phone, and it was not backed up, so I cannot receive the verification codes.

As a result, I cannot access any Microsoft services, including OneDrive and other apps. Additionally, I am unable to raise a support ticket through the Admin Center due to this issue.

Could you please guide me on the steps to regain access to my account? Any direct support email or alternative verification method would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi @chandan kumar
Thank you for posting question to Microsoft Q&A Forum.

According to this issue, may I know if there are other Global Administrators in your organization? If so, they could follow this article to reset MFA for you: https://free.blessedness.top/en-us/entra/identity/authentication/howto-mfa-userdevicesettings#manage-user-authentication-options

However, if you are the only Global Administrator - then you will need to follow either these steps:

1.Call to Microsoft Support team - please look for phone number matching with your country: Customer service support phone

2.If method 1 is not working, please follow this link to create a trial tenant: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/microsoft-365-business-basic?msockid=3eb6980b5c6860e63a588d0c5d1761d6 - after that you will be able to access to Microsoft 365 Admin Center to raise the ticket - please mention that you are raising ticket on behalf of the affected tenant that you do not have access to. The support team will help you to create ticket on the affected tenant then later on the Microsoft Data Protection team will assist you.

Please note that this process will take more time than usual (7-14 working days) for your account to get access again as DataProtection is always overwhelmed with the number of tickets. As I am forum moderator, I do not have access to Microsoft internal system to assist or push this process to be quicker.

I hope my information is helpful. Please give me any updates once you get this resolved.
