Intune Multi App Kiosk – Autologon not working with KioskUser0

Hi everyone,

I’ve configured a Multi App Kiosk via Intune and expected it to automatically sign in with KioskUser0, but Autologon isn’t working. If I manually sign in with .\KioskUser0, it works fine, but the automatic sign-in never happens.

Has anyone found a solution? No matter what I try, it just doesn’t work.

Hi, we'd love to help you further! The Auto Logon option for Windows Kiosk is limited to the local account Intune creates and manages '.\kioskUser0' and access is controlled by the AssignedAccess policy. Could you confirm the following so we can assist further:

Have you configured AutoLogonAccount in your provisioning XML? Please paste the snippet here.

Do you have any Security Baselines, other device configuration profiles assigned?

Since manual login works, also check these registry values on the device under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon:

DefaultUserName = .\kioskUser0

AutoAdminLogon = 1

If those values are missing or different, try setting them to the values above on a test device and reboot to validate autologon. Let me know how it goes!
