Hello,

After completing the integration between Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Microsoft Intune, we deployed the Excel app to iPads using Intune.

When launching Excel, the following behavior occurs:

A login screen appears showing the user's UPN.

After entering the password, one of the following messages is displayed:

"Your organization has removed the data associated with this app (606).

To continue, this app needs to be restarted. To reconnect to your organization, sign in with your work account."

or

"Your organization is in the process of removing the data associated with this app (614).

To continue, this app needs to be restarted. To reconnect to your organization, sign in with your work account."

After this, the app wipes the data and shows:

"Checking the requirements for accessing organizational data in this app."

This behavior repeats even after restarting the app and signing in again.

Has anyone experienced and resolved this issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

◆Response from Microsoft Intune Support (Cause)

●When attempting to sign in to Microsoft 365 from Android or iOS mobile devices using an account registered as a Device Enrollment Manager (DEM) in Intune, this error may occur.

(This is considered a correct error because DEM accounts are not intended for Microsoft 365 usage.)

●There is a known bug where accounts that encounter this error may become unable to sign in to Microsoft 365 from Android or iOS devices.

    ◆Workaround

●Removing the account from the Device Enrollment Manager (DEM) in Intune may resolve the issue in some cases, but not always.

(In my case, it did not resolve the issue.)

●If the issue is not resolved, the only solution is to create a new account and migrate the data. Otherwise, access to data from Android or iOS mobile devices will not be possible.
