I understand why you’d prefer not to pay for the recovery ISO from HP, it can feel frustrating when you already own a valid license and you have to pay again. Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer offers Windows 7 recovery ISOs for download since support ended in January 2020. That leaves very few safe options:

Use an existing recovery partition or create a System Repair Disc from another Windows 7 machine if you have access.

If you must use unofficial sources, be cautious even from this site, as they often carry security risks and malware.

If recovery is critical and OEM media isn’t an option, I figure the safest long-term solution is upgrading to Windows 10.
