Subject: Request for Student Verification for Microsoft Azure

Respected Sir/Madam,

My name is Meharullah Khan, a student of Government Boys Degree College, Larkana. I am trying to verify my student status to access Microsoft Azure for Students. However, my college does not provide an official student email address (such as .edu.pk).

I do possess valid proof of my enrollment, including my exam slip and certificate, which clearly show my identity as a student. Since the system only accepts institutional email addresses, I am unable to complete the verification process.

I kindly request your assistance in verifying my student status using the documents I can provide (exam slip, certificate, or any other required proof). This will allow me to access Microsoft Azure services for my academic learning and future career in technology.

Your support in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Meharullah Khan

Student – Government Boys Degree College, Larkana

    Hello Meharullah Khan,

You're trying to access Microsoft Azure for Students. However, your college does not provide an official student email address, which is required by the system for automatic verification.

You do have valid proof of enrollment (exam slip, certificate), but there's no way to submit these documents through the standard process. You’ve asked Microsoft to manually verify your student status so you can access Azure for academic learning.

Azure for Students is available only to students who meet the following requirements:

    • You must affirm that you're age 18 or older and attend an accredited, degree-granting, two-year or four-year educational institution where you're a full-time student.
    • You must verify your academic status through your institution's email address.
    • This offer isn't available for use in a massive open online course (MOOC) or in other professional trainings from for-profit organizations.
    • This offer is limited to one Azure for Student subscription per eligible customer. It's nontransferable and can't be combined with any other offer, unless otherwise permitted by Microsoft.

For detailed terms of use, see the Azure for Students offer page

For Azure for Students, Microsoft currently requires verification through an institutional email address from an accredited school. Manual document upload (ID card, fee slip, registration form) isn’t accepted for this offer.

You can try using the GitHub Student Developer pack, verify your GitHub student status, then sign up for Azure for Students using your GitHub email.

    https://education.github.com/pack

Before sign up to Azure as a student you must have a verified GitHub Student Developer Pack. Please ensure that your student status is active by confirming it in your GitHub account settings.

If verification is still in progress, it might take some time, but you should receive a notification once it's complete.

How to activate Azure from your GitHub Student Developer pack:

    • In the GitHub Offers page , browse through the available tools and locate Microsoft Azure. Click to generate your unique verification code.
    • Now go to the Microsoft website and click on “Activate Now” button where you’ll get a prompt to sign in. sign in with GitHub account.
    • Enter all your details and signup.

If you’re a genuine student but your school doesn’t provide .edu emails:

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
