Production MySQL Server not starting

Hi,

My MySQL Server on Azure has not been starting since 4:00 AM (Sep 30). I have been trying to start the service repeatedly via script and also through the portal, but all attempts fail with Start MySQL Server - Failed (see attached image).

This is my production database, and it has been unavailable for several hours, directly impacting my application.

Actions taken so far:

Multiple manual and script-based restart attempts (unsuccessful).

Request: I urgently need support to restore the availability of the MySQL server. Please check if there is any service or regional instability, or if my instance requires configuration adjustments.

Urgency: Critical (production outage).

    Configuration & Environment

    • Were there any recent changes made to the MySQL server configuration, such as parameter updates, firewall rules, or virtual network settings prior to the outage?
    • Is the MySQL server part of a high availability or replication setup? If yes, are other nodes experiencing similar issues?

    Resource & Quota Checks

    • Can you confirm whether the resource group, storage account, or compute quota limits have been exceeded or modified recently?
    • Is the underlying disk attached to the MySQL server healthy and accessible?

    Monitoring & Logs

    • Have you checked the Azure Activity Log or MySQL error logs for any events around 4:00 AM on Sep 30?
    • Is diagnostic logging enabled for the server, and if so, can you provide recent entries?

    Service Health

    • Have you reviewed the Azure Service Health dashboard for any regional outages or incidents affecting MySQL services in your region?

    Security & Access

    • Were there any recent changes to IAM roles, access policies, or credentials that might affect server startup permissions?
