Trying to Factory Reset my Asus X550C laptop

I am thinking about moving on from the previous Windows version (my Asus X550C laptop) to Windows 11. However, I don't know if "CyberLink," "My Data Sources," and "PPC-Software" are considered software as part of the entire Asus X550C laptop (Documents under This PC) because I don't want to screw it up before moving on to Windows 11, even when I am trying to move certain documents to the USB drive.1000008134

I would appreciate some help right away, so let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thanks.

    Hi ,

Typically, an update migrates all data from the current OS to the new one, including application data, since the Program Data folder and your user data are migrated.

If you're using a cloud-based file system like Google Drive or Dropbox, authentication and sync issues may occur.

As a precaution, I recommend backing up your files and imports, as well as AppData and ProgramData. AppData can be accessed in the search bar by typing %appdata%, and ProgramData is located in the root of C:. Since application data is usually hidden in these folders, I can't be certain about the programs mentioned.

Another thing is that you can revert to the previous version of Windows 10 if it doesn't work. You have 14 days to revert to the previous version. After that, the restore image is deleted.

Give feedback if the information was useful or not.

    Thanks
