issues having a new custom domain in microsoft Entra.
i added the records on my DNS zone,
they are propagated globally,
but i cant verify it on the Entra board
I found that the domain im adding is part of another tenant that is not mine (which is strange)

This issue you're facing with verifying a custom domain in Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) is likely due to the domain already being registered in another Microsoft Entra tenant, which is why you're unable to verify it—even though DNS records are correctly configured and propagating.

    1. The domain was previously used in a test or production tenant.
    2. Someone else in your organization added it to a different tenant.
    3. The domain was compromised or mistakenly added elsewhere.

    Hi @Boiken
It seems you're having trouble verifying a new custom domain in Microsoft Entra, especially since it's showing as part of another tenant.

Make sure all required DNS records, especially the TXT record from the Entra admin center, are set up correctly. You can use DNS Checker to confirm global propagation.

If the domain is already verified in another tenant, you'll need to remove the domain from the existing tenant before adding it to your own tenant.

DNS changes may take up to 72 hours to take effect, so consider waiting a bit longer if you've just made updates.

Check if any users have created an unmanaged tenant through self-service sign-ups like Power BI. You might need to take over the tenant or use PowerShell with ForceTakeover.
