Hi,
Based on your description, it sounds like the Num Lock function may be disabled, causing the right-hand keypad to behave like arrow keys. Pressing Ctrl + Alt might temporarily override this, but the setting resets after a restart. To resolve this permanently, please ensure Num Lock is enabled—usually by pressing the Num Lock key on your keyboard.
Additionally, check your keyboard settings in Windows by going to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard, and confirm that “Mouse Keys” is turned off, as this can also affect keypad behavior. If your device supports BIOS settings, enabling Num Lock at startup in the BIOS may help retain the setting after reboot.
Let us know if the issue persists or if you need help accessing these settings.
If my answer is useful for you, please give it a vote.
Best regards,
Quinnie Quoc,
