Unable to access files on Teams. Takes me to a sharepoint that doesn't enable viewing/ editing etc

I get this message when I am logged in to Teams:

Your browser enforces security restrictions which prevent this app from appearing here. Please open this app in a new browser tab.

Correlation ID: REMOVE PII

It then offers a button to a sharepoint but when I go there the powerpoint does not open properly.

The Teams APP no longer works on my old Mac so I open teams in safari. I use teams for calls with no problems.

    Regarding to your description, could you please share a few more details?

    • May I know that how you are trying to access the file? For example, are you accessing it via the Files tab in a Teams channel,

    or is it a file that was shared directly in a chat?

    • May I know with other browsers, does the same error is still persist? Could you please share screenshot showing the error message and the page you’re redirected to that doesn’t work properly?
    • About the error message you mentioned, based on my research, some articles suggest that allowing third-party cookies may resolve this issue. I’m not sure if you’ve tried adjusting this setting yet. If not, could you please search online for guidance on enabling third-party cookies or adjusting privacy restrictions based on your current browser version?
    • For the files that were shared with you, could you kindly ask the file owner to check and share your sharing permissions?
