Rules for emails

I have set up a rule to report and delete emails from a domain (*solarany.com) which is sending loads of emails. These go straight into the junk folder so it would seem that the rule will not apply. Is there any way that I can set up a rule to report and delete them without having to do it individually.

    Hi

    Thanks for your response but unfortunately I don’t really understand it! All emails from Solarany are automatically received in my junk mail box. I then delete them en masse. Although MS can block the addresses they are all different eg renew*@solarany.com so another one takes its place. I really don’t understand why MS can’t block the domain/account hosted on their servers.

    Hey there!

    I'm sorry that you are facing this issue.

    Rules only act on messages that reach the Inbox. If a message is already classified as Junk by Outlook's spam filters, rules do not run on it. That's why your "Report Junk + Delete" combination isn't working for those messages.

    Go to Settings -> Mail -> Junk email and add *solarany.com under Blocked senders and domains. This will automatically moves the mails to Junk Folder.

    I accept the answer but it doesn’t solve the problem. The emails are already blocked as they automatically arrive in the junk folder. I have been advised by MS that these are from an account hosted on MS Azure. Just get fed up with seeing so many of them!

    If you are using Outlook Classic you can try below:

    click Home -> click on 3 Dots->Junk -> Junk E-mail Options.

    On the Options tab, check the "Permanently delete suspected junk email instead of moving it to the Junk E-mail folder box".

    I am not using outlook classic but outlook webmail and also outlook app on iPad so the above does not seem to be possible.

    i have woken up to another 14 emails in the junk folder overnight!
