Hi,
After the latest Microsoft Edge update "140.0.3485.81" on my Windows 10 laptop, all of my credentials disappeared from the Microsoft Password Manager. When I checked "edge://settings/autofill/passwords", the list is empty. I also went to "edge://sync-internals/" and saw that Password = 0. It all happened after the Edge updated itself.
Is there any way to recover all the saved credentials or is it permanently gone? .

Same here, all my passwords gone. No errors. The list of passwords was completely deleted, no associated sites or applications. Wallet: "" We are making changes to the Portfolio. For more information, visit: Changes in the Microsoft Edge portfolio.""

SAME THING happened to me. Browser closed last night, I reopen it, and everything is gone. YES I am signed in with same user name and password/profile. THERE USED to be an accessible password list I could open and view using my PASSKEY, this list is gone.

Same here. I still can't believe all my saved passwords are gone without any notice or errors. If it's an update, it's super sloppy and irresponsible. Some places suggested grabbing the "Login Data" file from App Data, but it didn't help either. Very disappointed at this point.

I have this same issue and they told me v141 is the remedy, since updating to that version I'm now back to no passwords - losing those I re-saved during the issue on v140.
I agree - Password storage is such a critical area of reliance, if this can happen - how can we put any trust in any other Cloud storage Microsoft offers, especially to business users. We need a statement from Microsoft ASAP.

Same thing happened in Google Chrome. Every password I had saved is gone.

When I open my browser and go to Settings, then to Microsoft Password Manager, I see that no passwords are saved. There isn’t any error message. I simply turned on my laptop, and after the update, I noticed that all the credentials were gone.

Same, Tried everything to recover passwords, sync un sync nothing is working. Hope someone can tell us how to get them all back
This is turning out to be probably the BIGGEST MISTAKE of an update that was EVER AUTO installed! So far hours of extra time wasted because MICROSOFT doesnt care!
The solution recommended to me by a Microsoft Customer Support Agent was to use a System Restore point and roll back to the older Microsoft Edge version "140.0.3485.66". But keep these two things in mind before rolling back -
This experience has made me skeptical about other Microsoft services as well. For example, I currently use OneDrive to store all of my photographs and videos. What if something similar happens there and files get deleted? If it only affects a limited set of people, then it feels like no one will help. Honestly, I was not expecting this kind of issue from Microsoft.

all my passwords are gone ... I've replaced some, said to save, then just now went to go to one of my accounts AND again, all are gone - don't like this, why would you do this without giving the option to us?????
