Custom App Crashes on Camera Access Inside Intune Company Portal

I have a custom app that I wrapped using the Intune App Wrapping Tool and signed with a certificate. App protection is working as expected. The app has two options: Camera and Gallery. When I tap on the Camera option, the app crashes—but only when it's launched from the Company Portal. If I install the same signed app outside the Company Portal, the Camera option works perfectly.

Hello @Nazmul Huda Setu , The crash might be due to Intune’s app protection policies blocking camera use in the managed context. On Android, the Company Portal is required to enforce app protection, so launching the app via Company Portal activates Intune’s restrictions. In this mode, the Camera app is treated as an “unmanaged” source, and by default a policy-managed app cannot receive data from unmanaged apps like the device camera.

To fix this, try and adjust your Intune App Protection Policy to allow camera access for the app. In the Intune admin center, under the Data Transfer settings, enable the Camera as an allowed source. This permits the managed app to launch the camera without violating policy, possibly preventing the crash. Additionally, ensure the app has the proper camera permission and is using the latest Intune App Wrapper/Company Portal version.
