Q & A Labels/Tags are Illogical and Counterintuitive

Please forgive the sarcasm, but only Microsoft could have redesigned a Q & A setup to make it totally illogical and counterintuitive . . . a perfect example, yet again, of Microsoft attempting to fix something which isn't broken.

I refer to the "Answer" and "Comment" titles/options instead of the simple but effective and logical "Reply" (in all of its possible formats/guises). If memory serves, "Reply" was the original tag/label in "Microsoft Community".

Within "Reply", if there is a need to identify a post as an "Answer", that should be left for the original poster to decide, not the new poster (and only after and when it solves the original problem).

There is no need to flag it as an "Answer" before, especially as it could so easily be a "Wrong Answer".

Calling it an "Answer" instead of simply a "Reply" is counterintuitive.

Further, burying "Comments" along with a previously possibly wrongly labelled "Answer" breaks the thread and makes it extremely difficult to follow.

Before making such changes, why not enlist the help/advice of "Users" (otherwise known as "Customers") instead of relying on your inside experts, who live in splendid isolation within your virtual world?

Incredibly, to post this "Suggestion", I note that I have to select the option "Post your Question" . . . continuing with my apologies for the sarcasm, is there anything else that you can change or invent to make it any more illogical?
