I have had a personal Microsoft Acct for years but it was up for renewal a couple of days ago, so I declined to renew, not thinking I wasmalso using it for some of our business. Now the price to renew is $30 more then it was but without losing what I have on the office Microsoft 365 for the last 10 plus years of having it, i thought maybe i will add Microsoft 365 on a buisness acct. Will I lose everything i have now if I change it or is there someway of being able to share the info from one acct to a buisness acct? Would it be better to just keep the personal acct and renew it?

    Hello

Does your business account currently have other Microsoft business tier products?

If not, in Microsoft's eyes, it is still a "personal" Microsoft account, and as long as you subscribe to the Microsoft 365 personal or family plan, sharing should be fairly easy between two accounts - you just cannot merge them.

However, if your business account has some Microsoft business tier products, then Microsoft sees it as a "work or school" account, which is a completely separate ecosystem from the personal side of products. You will not be able to get the Microsoft 365 personal/family, and sharing/configuration can run into challenges.
