Hello,

I want to close my microsoft account, but in doing so, i have to leave an organization which appears to be the fact that in the past i used azure. Now when logging into azure, i get the blue screen stating that the tenant was blocked due to inactivity.

I contacted microsoft support which suggested to open a ticket on azure for support, but when trying to do so im redirected to the blue screen where it is stated that the tenant was blocked; the same thing happens when i also login into azure, leading to the fact that it is not possible to open a ticket since the account is blocked.

How should i proceed to unlink the account from the inactive tenant or close the tenant and in the end be able to close the microsoft account?

    Hello @Andrei

The error message you encountered indicates that your tenant has been inactive for over 200 days past the billing cycle, triggering Microsoft’s effort to remove inactive tenants. When a tenant remains inactive for this period, the OMS commerce system imposes a login block (AADSTS5000225). Twenty days after the login block is applied, the tenant is permanently deleted.

As per your response, please try to close your personal account post 20 days.
