How do I get my Remote Desktop App to work, as it seems to have no apps connected to it.

I have recently changed schools but am still trying to take college classes next semester, in the past week I have used the remote desktop to login to various accounts for work or school. I know it is a privilege to have this but I am really in need to this as it allows me to get ready for more college classes in the future. While I may have left my desktop unattended and unknowingly having people use it with out me present or know it still is a struggle to do all my work on regular desktops that don't fit the current standard.

    Hi,

We understand the importance of remote desktop access in supporting your academic and professional responsibilities, especially during transitions between institutions.

To ensure continued access while maintaining security and compliance, we recommend the following:

Always lock your desktop when unattended to prevent unauthorized use.

Enable audit logging to track remote access sessions and verify account activity.

Use multi-factor authentication (MFA) and strong passwords to protect your credentials.

Confirm that your remote desktop usage complies with your current institution’s IT policies, especially regarding personal vs. shared devices.

If you’ve recently changed schools, we suggest contacting your new institution’s IT department to request approved remote access tools and confirm your eligibility. Maintaining secure and authorized access will help ensure uninterrupted preparation for your upcoming college classes.

Please let us know if you need help configuring remote access securely.

    Best regards,

    Quinnie Quoc.
