I am replying to a Q&A Question and want to "@mention" the original poster in my comment/answer. But if I enter "@" followed by the name displayed at the top of the post, I get a long list of matching names. How can I pick out the OP from this list?

    Hi,

Picking the right user from the mention list can be tricky, unless their username or profile picture really stands out. We've received similar feedback before and have asked for the option to tag users by profile ID, which is a unique identifier. There's no ETA yet, but the request has been logged and acknowledged by engineering.

The easiest alternative is to copy and paste the profile name from the first screen capture.
