When creating a contact list in Outlook, there is an issue where adding certain Gmail addresses, such as ******@gmail.com, is not possible. The add button grays out when typing the last "m," while addresses like ******@gmail.co can be added without issue. This problem occurs with two or three Gmail addresses out of thirty in the contact list.

Hello! shirley. Thanks for the details.

The problem usually ties back to Outlook’s address validation rules or hidden characters in the address field.

    If you copied the address:

Paste it first into Notepad (removes formatting).

Copy again from Notepad and paste into Outlook.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance, just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
